Thomas H. Elroy is the owner of Team Software, Inc. which was founded in 1989. Tom H. has over 40 years of experience in programming through various languages. He has been involved with deploying and supporting Microsoft server and desktop operating systems. Mr. Elroy also programs, installs, supports, and maintains software packages which are in use by a wide variety of industries, including grain inspection agents of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He also has created and supports online ordering systems for the tire industry. Tom H. has also developed a software tool that converts gathered server information into spreadsheets and Visio diagrams.
Experience: Owner of (and employed by) Team Software, Inc. from August, 1989 through the present. Creation of wide variety of business and accounting software for various industries, including (but not limited to) Grain Inspection (associated with the GIPSA services of the U.S. Department of Agriculture), Tire Wholesale, Retail Store, Personal and Business Budgeting, Route Sales/Delivery, Real Estate Sales, and Security Guard Management. Assisted IBM with debugging AS400 system when first released. Complete project management for thousands of projects.
Areas of Expertise: In charge of the relocation of the computer systems of many firms both within their current physical structures as well as to new locations. Establishment of servers/networking in Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008/2008R2, and Windows Server 2012/2012R2. Windows Server 2008/2008R2 and 2012/2012R2 experience is with Standard, Enterprise, and Data Center versions. Some experience with Microsoft SQL and Oracle. Experience with Pervasive PSQL. Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware ESXi, Hypervisor, VCenter, and VServer. Experience in data center migration using Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware. Experience in upgrading and implementing MS Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013. Experience in implementing scripts for creating and maintaining all areas of Active Directory. Also expert in hardware assembly/diagnostics, wiring, routers, hubs, software troubleshooting, virus cleaning, internet setup/diagnostics, and network hardware/software mapping. Daily interfacing with clients (1-man through large Enterprise), as well as proficiency with scheduling and implementation of projects.
Video Experience/Expertise: Videotaping (semi-professional) since 1979, including editing and production. Familiarity with photo and video editing software including, but not limited to, Paint Shop Pro (photo/graphic), Pinnacle Studio, and Nero video editing software. YouTube partner since November, 2011, including 150 posted (created) videos and over 200 subscribers.
